Community For Youth is Hiring a Program & Data Specialist Near Seattle, WA

Job Summary:

The Program & Data Specialist is a full-time, exempt position that will collaborate and lead portions of CfY’s unique one on one mentoring and community building program. This position will lead a significant portion of the mentor side of our programming, including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, on-going training and mentor appreciation, as well as other program activities including Camp Launch (weekend fall retreat), whole Community Workshops, etc. This position is a core member and leader in the organization and will be a key part of strategic plan implementation and program growth and development.

Essential Functions:

Program Management

  • Manage mentor side of program implementation, ensuring programming aligns with organizational objectives and strategic goals
  • Manage and facilitate Mentor Workshop curriculum development and planning to ensure programming meets standards for relevance, quality, and consistency and aligns with organizational strategic goals
  • Stay up to date on mentoring best practices, mentoring innovations, and minimum standards
  • Create and execute comprehensive implementation plans with deadlines, milestones, processes, and risk mitigation protocols
  • Ensure mentor applications are complete in order to update the program database
  • Ensure orientation and ongoing mentor training and support is provided
  • Provide ongoing match support to a caseload of mentors, students and caregivers
  • Manage mentor & student enrollment and onboarding processes from application to match process
  • Collaborate with leadership to support the strategic development of mentoring programs
  • Support and collaborate in planning of key program events 
  • Support other Program Team members in the successful completion of all program projects, including recruitment & onboarding, Match Support, and workshop planning / facilitation

Data Management, Analysis and Grant Reporting

  • Monitor service delivery for consistency, compliance, engagement, and relevance
  • Manage and ensure all program metrics and deliverables are tracked and implemented
  • Develop evaluation strategies to monitor and improve program performance
  • Manage and maintain overall compliance with policies and procedures
  • Implement data collection and reporting plan to monitor and analyze program quality and performance
  • Provide detailed program reports to leadership and executive team
  • Collaborate closely with the grant writer to ensure accurate and timely completion of all grant reports

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required, MSW strongly preferred
  • A minimum three years related experience
  • Experience giving presentations in a professional setting
  • Knowledge of and experience working with youth impacted by poverty and racism
  • Knowledge of Seattle Public Schools a plus
  • Skills in multiple languages a plus

  • Effective at working on a small, fast-paced and collaborative team

Work Schedule and Compensation: 

This is a 40 hour per week position and will be paid twice a month. Daily office hours are between the hours 9:00 and 5:00, though some evening and weekend work will be required, in which case flex time will be awarded. Hybrid work environment with an emphasis on in-person service delivery.
