The Community Health Center of Greater Dayton (CHCGD) team creates long-lasting relationships with our patients. It is our priority to provide patients with the necessary knowledge about their health and assist them in making the the best healthcare choices.

We are seeking someone who likes working within a team and has excellent people skills! CHCGD has openings for a Healthcare Receptionist. This person will be the first point of contact for many of our patients.

Duties:

• Greeting patients, checking and entering arrival time.

• Updating and/or entering patients in practice management system.

• Copying insurance card and verifying insurance coverage.

• Directing patients on scheduling appointments

• Clerical task: copying, filing, scanning, and etc.

• Directing patients on scheduling appointments

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent certificate required.

2-3 years of experience in a health care facility preferred.

Basic knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding and medical terminology is preferred.

Basic computer and keyboarding skills using MS Office required; previous experience in EMR preferred.

Willingness to obtain CPR

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
