Community Health Partnership is Hiring an Electrical Engineer Near Bowling Green, KY

DescriptionBando is a global leader in manufacturing world-class power transmission belts to automotive OEMs’ as well as aftermarket distributors. Bando makes belts for 6 of the top 10 cars, and 5 of the top 10 light trucks sold in the USA today.
We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to join our team at our Bowling Green, KY, plant. The Electrical Engineer's primary responsibilities are to repair, install, and troubleshoot all equipment, machinery, and tools in the facility. Additionally, this position involves supporting the IT department as assigned by the GM of Engineering.
$70,000 - $80,000/yr based on experience
RequirementsEssential Functions
  • Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
  • Confirms system's and components' capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.
  • Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
  • Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for building and assembling electrical components; soliciting observations from operators.
  • Assures product quality by designing electrical testing methods; testing finished products and system capabilities.
  • Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
  • Provides engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
  • Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures; requesting repair service.
  • Maintains product data base by writing computer programs; entering data.
  • Completes projects by training and guiding technicians.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Education & Experience RequiredMinimum 3 years equivalent work experience, manufacturing experience preferred
Associate Degree in Engineering
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred
General Qualifications
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, respond to questions, and understand directions, traffic signs, signals, and training.
Skills Required
  • Must communicate in a professional manner.
  • Detail oriented.
  • Ability to troubleshoot.
  • Computer literacy is a must, various programs including but not limited to MS office, Auto-CAD, and others based on assignment, advanced math skills is required.
  • Must be highly organized and able to prioritize.
  • Strong focus on safety both personal and for others.
  • Capable of working in and maintaining clean, organized environment.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to apply common sense, understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form.
Physical / Mental Requirements / Working Conditions
  • The ability to walk, stand, turn, climb, kneel, sit for extended periods, reach, lift, carry, push, talk, hear and see.
  • Must be able to use hands, wrists and fingers.
  • Must be able to lift and move objects up to 30 LBS.
  • Some exposure to tooling equipment noise.
  • Mental requirements include, but are not limited to, the ability to concentrate, take initiative, cope with stress, adapt to and stay alert in a business environment and use independent judgment to accomplish all duties and responsibilities.
