INTERNSHIP TYPE: Internship - Master's Level
PROGRAM: Child Outpatient Program
SITE LOCATION: Manchester, CT
HOURS/SCHEDULE: 20 hours/week
ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Child Outpatient ProgramPsychiatric and diagnostic evaluation and treatment is provided to children, adolescents and families. Services are available in our East Hartford, Enfield, Mansfield, Manchester and Bloomfield locations.
PROGRAM OUTLINE:By participating as a Master’s Level Intern with CHR, you can expect to gain firsthand experience and training related to psychiatric & substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment as well as other services, including assessment, consultation, individual, couples, group, family treatment and medication evaluation and monitoring.
QUALIFICATIONS:Education: Must be enrolled in a master’s degree program in mental health field.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment preferred but not required.
Licensure/Certification/Registration: Valid driver’s license
