Position Overview

We are seeking a fulltime, experienced Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at our Occupational Medicine clinic!

Responsibilities

* Answer phones and schedule appointments

* Greet patients and visitors in a pleasant manner

* Patient check-in and check-out

* Prepares charts accurately and completely, ensuring completion of all intake forms

* Enters patient demographics, charges and payments into the clinic computer system

* Verifies patient insurance eligibility and coverage

* Accurately handles the collection of patient payments

* May be required to accurately conduct end of day balances

* May be required to float to other clinics as needed

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

* Minimum of a High School Diploma, or equivalent

* Minimum of one (1) year of Front Desk Receptionist experience in a family practice, internal medicine or OB/GYN clinic setting

* Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
