Job Description
Physical Therapist Assistant- Full Time
$5000 Sign On Bonus offered
$10,000 for Student Loan Repayments
This is a full time position working at the Skilled Nursing unit and Acute Care in Oro Valley located at 1551 E Tangerine Rd.
As a PhysicalTherapist Assistant, at Northwest Medical Oro Valley, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Our Rehab staff enjoy a robust benefits package including health insurance, 401K, flexible scheduling, 100% licensure/certification reimbursement, Tuition Reimbursement, and up to 10K for student loan payments.
Requirements:
* Required: Associate's Degree Program from an accredited school.
* Experience: Preferred: One (1) year experience assisting Physical Therapist
* Appropriate prioritization and planning skills, while achieving safety and quality in a high volume environment;
* Engaging and effective communication and service skills; Adherence to policy and procedures; Process improvement oriented;
* Self-initiative to assist with whatever is needed.
* Required: Current Arizona Physical Therapy Assistant Certification.
* American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) BLS Certification.
* Skilled Nursing Unit: Fingerprint Clearance Card
About the Job:
* Under supervision of the Physical Therapist, performs treatments and provides exercise instruction and demonstration for patients.
* This staff member will primarily be working in our skilled nursing unit (SNU) and occasionally in the acute care floors.
* Staff will be oriented in all areas they will be working in.
