Radiology Special Procedures Tech II- Cath Lab

Shift: Full-Time, Day Shift: 4-10/hr shifts, call required

$10K Student Loan Repayment

As a Radiology Special Procedures Tech at Turkey Creek Medical Center, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. Requirements:

* Current BLS from AHA or ARC.

* ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

* Requires an associate's degree from an Accredited Program and Registration as a Technologist by the A.R.R.T.

* Previous Cath Lab experience is preferred but not required.

* Bachelors degree preferred.

About the Job:

* As a member of the Cath Lab team, the Rad Tech II will demonstrate extensive working knowledge of all x-ray equipment functions and effects that are utilized in the Cath Lab. This position functions in a technical staff role during diagnostic, intervention and/or emergency cardiovascular procedures, peripheral vascular procedures, cardiac rhythm implants, and structural heart procedures.

* Prepares and preps patients for procedures and assist the physician in obtaining images while preventing the patient from being exposed to unnecessary radiation.

* Responsible for maintaining sterile techniques during procedures, recording and calculating data information for physician's final approval. Assists in the maintenance of a safe environment for the procedural areas in the Cath Lab Suite. This position deals with the adult patients.

* Functions in circulating role before, during and after procedures.
