Education/licensure: A degree from an accredited physical therapy education program. Licensed as a physical therapist by the Texas State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
Experience/KnowledgeA minimum of one-year experience in working with children with developmental delays is preferred.
Physical requirements that are bona fide occupational qualifications essential to the performance of the job:Must be able to transport clients, be able to complete activities necessary to perform services. This includes but is not limited to bending, lifting up to 44 pounds, carrying, crawling, and kneeling. Must be able to tolerate excessive heat and cold. Must lift and transport equipment for transfer and repair.
