Community Horizons is assisting with recruitment for a fellow citizen in Stevens Point! This is a position with set, guaranteed hours and no hands on personal cares required. This position is within the self-direction program. Under self-directed services you work directly for the individual requiring supports, which offers more work life balance and control over your schedule. This position is hired directly by the member and not through an agency. Work directly, hands on, for your supervisor!

Hours available: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm.

Wage: $15.00/hour

Tasks may include, but are not limited to:

- Light cleaning of all household areas (bathrooms, kitchen, bedroom, living area)

- Assistance with cleaning and meal preparation, as well as cleanup when prep is complete

- Sweeping, mopping, dusting, and wiping down surfaces as needed

- Assistance with transfers in/out of the shower (though hands on cleansing for showers is not required)

Who we’re looking for:

- An acceptable background check

- Someone with great follow through and attention to detail

- Great communication skills and ability to take direction

- Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
