Let The Good Times Roll Caregiver (part to full time)

Community Horizons is assisting in recruiting the perfect caregiver. This member is in search of someone dependable, compassionate, and patient with a positive personality. Does this sound like you? If so, please read on.

Do you enjoy spending time with others doing such things as trivia, game shows, music, reading, and movies? Are you a caregiver who has their weekends free and would like to assist a Wisconsin Rapids female in maintaining her independence in her own home? Please consider being a personal care companion for this wonderful woman.

Wage: $15.00 per hour

Daily Shifts within the Home Are:

· 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

· 3:00 pm-10:00 pm

· Overnights: 10:00 pm – 7:00 am

Immediate Needs

· Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays: 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

· Monday, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays: 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm

· Every Other Saturday: 10:00 pm – 7:00 am

· Pick-up shifts also available

Tasks Include but are not limited to:

· All Personal care

· Changings

· Transfers with a Hoyer lift

· Feeding, Cooking / Cleaning

· Medication Administration

· Having fun doing things together as a team

Ideal Candidate:

· Good Team Player

· Has 1 year of professional experience in a healthcare-related field

· Is familiar with the needs of someone with MS and is legally blind.

· Someone who has personal care experience including the use of a Hoyer lift

· Someone who can make conversation about pretty much anything

· COVID-19 Vaccinated or willing to wear a mask when in close contact

· Has a reliable form of transportation

· Favorable Caregiver Background check

Community Horizons offers support for individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care Organization or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) throughout Wisconsin. Self-direction gives program participants the choice over who provides services and how they receive them. Community Horizons is not the employer on record, members make all hiring decisions with the involvement of a third-party fiscal agent responsible for payroll.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week
