Central Ohio-based property management company seeks to add a full-time leasing agent for multiple properties in the Newark/Zanesville, Ohio area. Qualified candidates will maintain a professional appearance, be proficient on a computer, able to learn new software, confident in general sales techniques, demonstrate sound judgement and compassion in dealing with residents as well as the general public. Must possess excellent customer service skills and be able to prioritize workload in order to meet deadlines. This position will be office-based overseeing multiple apartments/homes. Duties will include, but are not limited to:

· Review daily calendar to determine required planning and organization needed

· Answer telephone and return calls to residents and prospects

· Schedule appointments for tours, application, and lease renewals

· Process applications for approval

· Process rental payments and follow-up on delinquent accounts

· Schedule vendors to complete service requests, follow-up with residents, process invoices, solicit vendor bids as needed

· Appropriately market available units to solicit new applications and answer social media inquiries

Mileage will not be reimbursed for required local travel between properties. Direct experience in the property management field relating to Fair Housing and HUD Section 8 Multi-Family compliance is not a requirement, but integrity, hard work and evidence of commitment to success is.
