We are seeking a Job Developer to join our team! The Job Developerwill establish and maintain activities to develop and locate internship and competitive employment opportunities in integrated work settings for program participants.

Location: Suffolk County, NY

Position: Full time
Hours: Monday - Friday (flexible)
Hourly Rate: $22.00

Responsibilities:

• determines program participants’ readiness for employment, assess their skills, and completes job-related discovery activities
• establishes and maintains working relationships with employers, industry organizations, and public agencies
• administers career interests/vocational assessments and/or surveys
• develops job leads by contacting employers in target industries; responding to job postings and ads; and conducting Internet searches
• communicates with employers during participants’ employment
• prepares reports and correspondence

 Qualifications:

• ID/DD Experience Preferred
• must have a valid New York State Driver’s License
• must have own transportation with Proof of Insurance, Registration, and Inspection
• must be computer proficient
• smartphone required
