Part-time receptionist for a medical office in our Toms River office. Hours are 9:30 am to 1:00 PM, Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Responsibilities and Duties

Handle all receptionist duties including:

• Scheduling patients
• Checking in patients
• Answering the telephone
• Routing and Sending Faxes
• Verifying insurance information
• Making and confirming appointments
• Working with the EMR
• Preparing patient routers for next day
• Checking-out patients
• Ordering and following up on Durable Medical Equipment Orders
• Cross-train and backup in other office positions

Qualifications and Skills

• Customer Service Oriented Personality.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of Medical Office Experience.
• Must have own transportation.
• Flexible with work schedule
• Computer literacy, including proficiency with Word.
• Good organizational skills, initiative, follow-through and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient oral and written communication including proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Working knowledge of Medical Terminology a Plus!
