Community Resource Network of Florida Inc. is Hiring a Daytime Caregiver Needed Punta Gorda Near Punta Gorda, FL
Community Resource Network of Florida is looking for a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and is committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) achieve their highest level of independence and live their best life.
The individual is a 7 year-old boy in need of an active caregiver to help with general supervision, engaging him in activities, and helping with bedtime routine. He enjoys swimming, going to the park, and playing with toys.This is an independent contract position and pays $15.00 per hourSchedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 2pm-7pm

- Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
- Meal/snack preparation
- Ensuring individuals safety and maintaining a safe living environment
- Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to the park
- Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
- Complete daily progress notes
- Valid driver’s license
- Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
- Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Have a Valid Drivers license
- Are 18 years of age or older
