Community Unit School District 308 is Hiring an Assistant Director of Special Education Near Oswego, IL
Community Unit School District 308 is seeking an outstanding educational leader to serve as the Assistant Director of Special Education, beginning July 15, 2024. This is a full-time, 220-day position.
Qualified applicants are required to have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with a Director of Special Education Endorsement or General Administrative endorsement and at least one of the following endorsements: Learning Behavior Specialist (LBS1 ), Speech and Language Pathologist (non-teaching), School Social Worker, or School Psychologist.The recommended candidate for this position will receive a regionally competitive starting salary depending on educational background and experience. A comprehensive benefits package including Board-paid TRS and THIS contributions, five weeks paid vacation per year, and 80% district-paid medical (including 100% reimbursement for non-emergency care at Rush affiliated providers on our PPO & HCA plans) and dental insurance.
