Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and nurturing care to children in the nursery
- Implement age-appropriate activities and educational programs
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times
- Maintain a clean and organized nursery environment
-Collaborate with other nursery staff to create a positive and supportive team environment
Skills:
- Caregiving: Ability to provide compassionate care to children, attending to their physical, emotional, and developmental needs
- First Aid: Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Childhood Development: Understanding of child development principles and ability to support children's growth and learning
- Babysitting: Proficiency in providing childcare services, including feeding, diapering, and engaging in playtime activities
- Infant Care: Knowledge of infant care practices, including feeding, soothing, and safe sleep practices
Additional Information:
Due to Safer Church Policy, Applicant must be 21 years of age or older
Recommended applicants will submit to a background check and must have 2 reliable references.
Work hours will include Sunday mornings 8:45-11:15 am and may include additional hours to be scheduled by the Director of Family Ministries during churchwide activities/events.
