About the Role:

Are you an enthusiastic and talented operations professional eager to tackle complex organizational challenges? We're seeking an Operations Manager to join our team. Your Responsibilities Will Include:

Executive and Business Operations Support:

  • Provide direct support to the President by preparing materials for strategic meetings, presentations, executive offsites, and key initiatives. Assist in coordinating leadership team meetings and provide updates on progress to relevant stakeholders. Conduct research, gather data, benchmark against industry standards, and offer insights to support decision-making. 

Project Management:

  • Oversee key, cross-functional, company-wide projects or initiatives. Manage crucial deadlines, organize necessary resources, and ensure accountability, leading to the successful completion of each project.

Talent Management Support:

  • Assist in overseeing the performance management process across teams, ensuring alignment with business goals and supporting managers in delivering effective feedback and development. Help develop performance metrics that reflect the nature of each team’s work. Analyze employee data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making. Contribute to initiatives that foster a high-performance culture, emphasizing collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Operations and Administrative Support:

  • Manage freelancers and vendors, coordinating payment processing with the accounting team. Serve as the business point of contact for accounts payable and receivable. Assist hiring managers with recruiting efforts, including screening candidates and managing hiring-related tasks. Onboard new employees to our HR platform and ensure they have access to our tech platforms and equipment for their role. 

Meeting and Event Coordination:

  • Manage the President’s schedule to ensure alignment with top priorities. Plan and coordinate key meetings and events, including company-wide team offsites, advertiser meetings, industry conferences, and all-company meetings, overseeing agendas and logistics to ensure seamless execution.
Qualifications and Skills:

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Extensive Experience: A proven track record in operations management, project management, or a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling you to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Collaborative Spirit: A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and can work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Must Haves:
  • 3 years of experience in operations management with a startup, marketing or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks/projects simultaneously and execute to deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage resources effectively.
Nice to Haves:
  • Familiarity with the credit card or financial industry.
  • Understanding of compliance requirements in the financial industry (e.g., CFCB, GDPR).
  • Experience with data analytics and making decisions based on data insights.
