Job Summary

We’re seeking a high-performing Marketing Specialist to join our dynamic Marketing Team that will provide critical marketing support for our high-profile technology client. Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, Dining & Restaurants, this role will provide support for key marketing functions - management of menu updates and key operational communications, support dining promotions and café/food hall openings, facilitate high profile tours, and support our customer feedback program. This role will include coordinating and working with client(s), customers, chefs/culinarians, operators, preferred partners and more. This role will support the broader Marketing Team, working cross-functionally to drive the activation of marketing programs and events to drive guest engagement and experience.

This is a hybrid position that requires the individual to work at the client site in Redmond, WA 3 to 4x/week depending on business and client needs.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Update and maintain all dining menus working closely with Senior Marketing Manager, Dining to ensure accuracy of menus across cafes and concept brands.
• Work with Digital Marketing Manager to ensure café updates are reflected on Dining Shops & Services and respective restaurant websites.
• Monitor internal social media platform and coordinate with Compass Group at Microsoft Team with appropriate responses.
• Manage operational communications including café updates and Building Advisories.
• Manage Customer Feedback survey platform and engage in feedback channels and programs to foster participation.
• Facilitate and plan high profile customer and client tours.
• Provide support in developing and activating focus groups to gather deeper customer insights.
• Proactively look and recommend areas of process improvement to continually support team and work management efficiency.
• Strong working knowledge and experience in creating marketing presentations.
• Other marketing duties as directed by Manager or Director.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years coordinating marketing programs (event industry, catering, hospitality, restaurant)
• College or graduate degree in business, marketing, communications or related field
• Creative individual with a growth mindset adept at marketing and communications and proven agility with shifting priorities.
• Strong knowledge of marketing communications process and understanding of different print and digital mediums and communication channels.
• Strong understanding of different Microsoft Office tools - Sharepoint, Teams Forms, Teams and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills - both verbal and written with strong knowledge of visual communications via MS PowerPoint.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
• Manage projects against a plan and objectives to ensure commitments are met by monitoring, assessing, and resolving variances in budget, timing or quality of work.
• Passion, knowledge and appreciation of culinary and/or event industry
