Located at the Solutions Bar, the Solutions Bar Advisor will be the first point of contact for visitors who need technology support. They will assist either at the service desk directly or in conference/meeting rooms. They will have a level of expertise to assist all visitors quickly and can readily jump in to assist meetings when needed.RESPONSIBLITIES:Provide high-level internal and external customer supportIntermediate knowledge of A/V technology and comfortable with supporting A/V needsGreet employees and visitors, welcome clients with a smile and maintain eye contact through the entire interaction.A Solutions Bar Advisor is the first point of contact for all guests seeking technology support Provides on-site welcome and assistance throughout scheduled shift for all in-house clients either at the Solutions Bar or in individual meeting roomsGain a better understanding of customer's technology issues by asking probing questions, listening, asking clarifying questions, taking detailed notes, while providing accurate time estimates for next steps.Work with Experience Team to assist any VIP guests seeking office/meeting room technology support. Responsible for daily walkthrough of office space and conference rooms to ensure all technology is put away neatly or readily available for any upcoming meetings including client and VIP.Restock supplies for Solutions BarHand deliver technology that has recently been repaired or additionally requested to guest's workspace, office, meeting room, etc.Coordinate and arrange basic office equipment repair and maintenance; escalate to appropriate party when necessarySpeak knowledgeably about the office, building, surrounding areas, transportation, local restaurants and other points of interestProvide first-line support for basic office technology as well as general administrative supportInterface with vendors to provide seamless customer supportComfortable assisting with any workplace position and showcasing a willingness to help wherever needed; provide unparalleled levels of support to all guestsRespond to inquiries and anticipates customer/client needsCommunicate effectively with peers, displaying accuracy and attention to detail both in verbal and written communications.Maintain a strong awareness of business activity and communicate all updates with your team municate and interact effectively with all other departments.Conduct opening and closing walkthroughs when business requiresOther duties as assignedKEY COMPETENCIESA genuine sense of hospitality, with a commitment to delivering the Rapport standards in all aspects of the Solutions Bar Advisor role.The ability to work under pressure, prioritizing tasks and juggling many jobs simultaneously, while constantly interacting with visitors in a public environment.Excellent listening and oral communication termediate computer skills and knowledge of office technology / equipment.Punctual, dependable and dedicated to achieving operational excellence, down to the smallest of details.Discreet, ethical and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.A consistently professional approach, with a mindset to take ownership and responsibility within and outside one's job domain.Can think quickly on their feet and complete all tasks, when prompted by the client or guest, in a timely manner.An aptitude for acquiring skills in technical repairs and an eagerness to learn about new products and devices.Creative thinker, able to work in tandem with the client on new ideas, projects, etc.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: At least 2 years of experience in a Technical Support position OR equivalent level of education in field. Proper working knowledge of iOS, Smartphone, Tablet, PC and Mac systems.
