Role OverviewAs a Nurse LPN/RN in our Crisis Center Stabilization Center, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care with a focus on psychiatric care. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care for individuals in behavioral crisis. This position is for week days, Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.

Role OverviewAs a Nurse LPN/RN in our Crisis Center Stabilization Center, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care with a focus on psychiatric care. You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care for individuals in behavioral crisis. This position is for week days, Monday to Friday, from 7 am to 3:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments, vital signs monitoring, wound care, and general daily care for patients at the Crisis Stabilization Center.
- Administer medications, including injections, and oversee self-administration. Manage medication protocols such as completing and updating medication administration records.
- Provide education to patients and their families on physical health and medications.
- Collaborate with staff, residents, families, physicians, psychiatrists, hospitals, and pharmacies to ensure coordinated care.
- Monitor and report changes in patients' behavior, attitude, and physical condition.
- Assist in diagnostic and treatment procedures and offer guidance to new employees.
- Attend team and leadership meetings as required.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to handle stressful situations.
- Associates degree in nursing required.
- Bachelors degree in nursing preferred.
- Minimum of one year of psychiatric experience; hospital or acute care setting experience is desirable.
- LPN or RN license valid in MO is required.
