We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Nurses to join our Crisis Center Stabilization Center team. As a Nurse at our 24/7 center, you will play a vital role in providing direct and indirect psychiatric care to individuals in behavioral crisis. Job DescriptionAs a Nurse at our Crisis Stabilization Center, your responsibilities will include:
Patient Care: Providing health assessments, medication administration, and general care to individuals in crisis
Medication Management: Administering medications, updating medication records, and ensuring proper medication protocols are followed
Patient Education: Offering guidance on physical health and medications to patients and their families
Collaboration: Working closely with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals
Observation and Reporting: Monitoring and documenting changes in patient behavior and physical condition
Team Support: Assisting with diagnostic procedures, educating new team members, and participating in meetings and trainings
RequirementsEducation: Associate degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience: Minimum of one year of psychiatric experience, preferably in a hospital setting
Licensure/Certification: Valid LPN or RN license in Missouri is required
