**Position Overview: Crisis Center Nurse**
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in a psychiatric capacity at the Crisis Stabilization Center
- Maintain Professional Nursing Practice standards
- Coordinate care for individuals experiencing behavioral crises
- Conduct health assessments, medication administration, patient education, and care coordination
- Report changes in patient condition, assist with procedures, and educate new employees
- Demonstrate effective communication, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure
- Work with verbally or physically agitated patients and participate in mandatory overtime if needed
- Associate's degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- At least one year of psychiatric experience, hospital experience preferred
- LPN or RN licensure valid in MO required
