OverviewAs a Nursing Professional at our healthcare organization, you will play a crucial role in operating the Medication Clinic and delivering nursing services to support the region's practitioners. Your responsibilities will include acting as a Case Manager for consumers served by the medication clinic and providing coverage at outpatient clinics within the region as needed. Mileage reimbursement is provided for additional travel requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and coordinate the Medication Clinic
- Be prepared for schedule changes and provide nursing coverage at neighboring clinics
- Conduct medication education sessions with clients
- Act as a case manager for consumers requiring medication refills
- Complete necessary documentation for medication clinic and psychiatric consultations
- Administer IM medications, dispense sample medications, and maintain medication logs
- Assist in completing prior authorizations and managing injections
- Conduct vital signs assessments and coordinate prediabetes screenings
- Utilize computer systems effectively
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Complete required documentation for Opioid Treatment Program clients
- Assist physicians with history and physical exams using virtual equipment
- Administer EKGs and conduct medical screenings
- Collect UDS and blood samples for analysis, administer TB skin tests
- Act as a case manager for clients needing medication information and dose adjustments
- Dispense medications to Opioid Treatment Program clients using specialized software
- Prepare take-out dosages of medication and manage inventory reports
