Job SummaryAs a Nurse RN - Assertive Community Treatment at Compass Health Network, you will play a crucial role in conducting psychiatric assessments, managing medication administration, and providing a range of treatment and support services to individuals in our community.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients and treatment teams to develop, implement, and evaluate treatment goals and plans.
- Provide individual supportive therapy, symptom management, and advocacy for clients and their families.
- Organize and manage medication administration under the direction of the team psychiatrist.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' psychiatric history, mental status, physical health, and social functioning.
- Provide education and training on medications, mental illnesses, and co-occurring health conditions to clients and the Assertive Community Treatment team.
- Attend organizational meetings, treatment planning sessions, and supervision meetings regularly.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of client assessments, progress notes, treatment plans, and safety plans.
- Offer on-call crisis intervention support during evening, nighttime, and weekend hours.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments as needed to facilitate communication and understanding of treatment plans.
- Assist in completing prior authorizations and coordinating medical appointments for clients.
- Collaborate with the Assertive Community Treatment team to address client health and medication concerns effectively.
- Education: Associate's degree in nursing
- Work Experience: Experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting
- Licensure/Certification: RN license in Missouri
