**Transportation Position Summary**
As a Transporter at Compass Health Network, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of consumers. The role requires flexibility as work hours are based on an 'as-needed' schedule, which may include nights and weekends.
**Key Responsibilities**

• Drive safely, ensuring passengers are wearing seatbelts and comply with traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Provide guidance and education to new staff members.
• Attend a minimum of 20 hours of continuing education annually, pass required certifications such as CALM and CPR.
• Assist in urinalysis collection when necessary.
• Monitor and report vehicle maintenance needs and any emergency situations as per company policies.
• Complete vehicle inspection logs (Clubhouse only) and foster Quality Improvement initiatives at the hospital (Royal Oaks Hospital only).
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as Federal, State, and TJC standards and regulations (Royal Oaks Hospital only).

**Requirements**

• Education: High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Work Experience: Valid Class E Missouri driver's license required, or ability to obtain within 90 days. Effective communication skills, emotional maturity, and at least one year of experience in customer service or a mental health-related field preferred.
