Position OverviewThe Facilities Service Supervisor is responsible for managing the maintenance, renovations, repairs, and facility needs within their designated region. This role involves supervising maintenance and housekeeping staff to ensure a safe and regulatory-compliant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage work orders for the assigned region
- Assign work orders to staff or vendors
- Complete necessary construction projects, renovations, and emergency management tasks
- Provide regular reports for update meetings with supervisors and Regional VPs
- Conduct inspections at assigned locations
- Oversee day-to-day operations and tasks of staff
- Supervise staff performance development
- Collaborate with directors and Regional VPs
- Conduct training with in-house staff on department-related topics
- Participate in departmental and committee meetings
- Other duties as required by the company
- High School/GED required
- Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience
- At least five years of construction, safety, or management experience
- Working knowledge of relevant safety and building codes
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Proficiency in reading floor plans and utilizing general office technology
