Your role as a Medical Assistant/Nurse LPN will be crucial in ensuring the delivery of top-notch healthcare services to our patients.
Responsibilities

• **Patient Care:** Prepare patients for examinations and treatments, take vital signs, and document patient information.
• **Room Preparation:** Set up exam and treatment rooms with necessary instruments and supplies.
• **Procedures:** Perform procedures such as venipunctures, urinalysis, and EKGs as directed.
• **Medication Administration:** Administer immunizations, injections, and assist with phone-in prescriptions.
• **Education:** Provide patient education and instruction.
• **Supply Management:** Maintain supplies, equipment, and sterilization processes.
• **Support to Practitioners:** Assist physicians/nurse practitioners in various medical procedures.
• **Administrative Tasks:** Schedule tests and treatments, maintain patient records, and handle telephone communications.
• **Compliance:** Adhere to clinic guidelines, CLIA, and OSHA regulations.

Requirements

• High School/GED required
• Practical Nursing certificate required for Nurse LPN
• Medical Assistant Certification, LPN, or GPN with MO NCLEX exam required
• Minimum two years of equivalent work experience (if certification not obtained)
• Knowledge of medical office terminology, procedures, and equipment preferred
