Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Nurse LPN Outpatient, you will be an integral part of the integrated care team, delivering specialized services to primary health care patients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing patients for examination and treatment
- Administering various medical procedures
- Providing patient education
- Assisting with minor surgeries and physicals
- Coordinating tests and treatments
- Maintaining patient records and files
- Monitoring medical supplies and equipment
- Educating patients on healthcare management
- Collaborating with medical providers
- Ensuring cleanliness and organization of unit facilities
- Handling medical queries and medication refills
- Serving as a medical/nursing consultant
- Conducting follow-up with discharged patients
- Promoting culturally competent services
- High School/GED required
- Practical Nursing certificate required
- At least two (2) years of experience as a licensed practical nurse preferred
- Proficiency in healthcare technology software preferred
- LPN or GPN licensure, must pass the MO NCLEX exam within 90 days of graduation
