Job OverviewAs a nurse at Compass Health Network, you will be responsible for overseeing the physical and psychiatric care of residents during the evening shift on weekdays. In addition to a competitive salary, Compass Health offers a generous 401K match and paid time off.
Responsibilities
- Perform nursing assessments as per contracts
- Monitor residents' health needs
- Address post-acute withdrawal symptoms
- Conduct meetings with consumers regarding medical concerns
- Assist with medication triage during treatment
- Coordinate medical appointments and communicate with physicians when needed
- Manage medical emergencies
- Provide support to consumers in accessing mental health services
- Educate consumers on medications and ensure proper usage
- Coordinate staff training for medication administration
- Conduct blood draws and coordinate lab orders
- Administer therapeutic medications
- Educate staff on medical-related issues
- Associate degree in nursing required
- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Must be a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Missouri
