As a Nurse LPN/RN at our Crisis Center Stabilization Center, you will play a crucial role in providing quality and compassionate care to individuals experiencing behavioral crises.
Responsibilities

• Conduct health assessments, pain assessments, and vital signs monitoring
• Administer medications, including injections and observing self-administration
• Manage medication administration records and controlled substances
• Provide patient/family education on physical health and medications
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members, residents, family, and healthcare professionals
• Report and document any changes in patients' behavior and physical condition
• Assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures
• Participate in team meetings and provide education to new employees
• Demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to work with patients in crisis
• Provide direct patient care to adults in a psychiatric capacity

Requirements

• Practical Nursing Certificate or Associate's/Bachelor's degree in nursing
• Minimum of one year of psychiatric experience; hospital or acute care experience preferred
• Current LPN or RN licensure in Missouri
