Your responsibilities will include maintaining professional nursing standards, coordinating care services for individuals in behavioral crisis, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver exceptional care.
ScheduleMonday - Friday, 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments, vital signs, and provide general daily care to patients
- Administer medications and observe self-administration
- Manage medication records and counts of controlled substances
- Offer patient education on physical health and medications
- Coordinate care with various stakeholders
- Report observable changes in patients' conditions
- Assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures
- Provide education and support to new employees
- Participate in team meetings and leadership activities
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and composure in challenging situations
- Deliver direct patient care to adults in crisis situations
- Be prepared to work with verbally or physically agitated patients
- Flexibility for mandatory overtime as needed
- High School/GED degree required
- Practical nursing certificate required
- Associate/Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
- Minimum one year of psychiatric experience, hospital or acute care experience preferred
- LPN or RN license valid in MO required
