Job DetailsAs a Nurse LPN/RN at our Crisis Center Stabilization Center, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care in a psychiatric capacity. Your role involves maintaining professional nursing standards, coordinating care for individuals in behavioral crisis, and collaborating with the healthcare team. This position requires working weekend night shifts - Saturdays and Sundays for 12-hour shifts.

Job DetailsAs a Nurse LPN/RN at our Crisis Center Stabilization Center, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care in a psychiatric capacity. Your role involves maintaining professional nursing standards, coordinating care for individuals in behavioral crisis, and collaborating with the healthcare team. This position requires working weekend night shifts - Saturdays and Sundays for 12-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Conduct health assessments, vital signs monitoring, and daily care for individuals at the Crisis Stabilization Center
- Administer medications, observe self-administration, and manage medication records
- Offer patient education on physical health and medications
- Coordinate care with various stakeholders including staff, residents, family members, and healthcare providers
- Report and document changes in patients' behavior and physical condition
- Assist in diagnostic and treatment procedures
- Provide guidance to new employees on protocols and procedures
- Participate in team meetings and leadership activities
- Associate's degree in nursing required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum one year of psychiatric experience, hospital experience preferred
- LPN or RN license valid in Missouri
