Position Summary
As a Nurse LPN/RN at our Crisis Center Stabilization Center, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect patient care to individuals experiencing behavioral crises. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and services. This position requires working weekend night shifts from Saturday to Sunday for 12-hour shifts.
Key Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care activities such as health assessments, vital signs, and administering medications
• Manage medication administration and educate patients on physical health and medications
• Coordinate care with staff, residents, family members, and healthcare providers
• Monitor and report changes in patients' behavior and physical condition
• Assist in diagnostic and treatment procedures and provide education to new employees
• Demonstrate effective communication and problem-solving skills in challenging situations

Qualifications

• High School/GED required
• Practical Nursing Certificate or Associates/Bachelor's in Nursing
• Minimum of one year of psychiatric experience preferred
• LPN or RN license valid in MO required
