Compass Health is currently looking for a Quality Manager to join the Quality team in Everett!

What you will be performing:

The Quality Manager develops, implements, and monitors clinical and administrative processes to ensure that standards are consistently met. This position will advise on the performance measures, produce, analyze, and report on data, and recommend changes to processes and workflows.

  • Commitment to a client-centered approach.
  • Facilitates and participates in prospective, concurrent, and retrospective chart reviews.
  • Recommends improvements to the internal quality review processes.
  • Participates in collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting on data. Prepares reports and presentations that recommend actions to facilitate quality improvements.
  • Assists in coordinating audits by external entities.
  • Acts as the point of contact with contractors/funders and collaborates as needed on care coordination issues.
  • Assists with clinical coding questions, coding documentation, and the development and maintenance of tools to assist workforce members to code services properly.
  • Assists with authorization/re-authorization issues, questions, and documentation of processes.
  • Facilitates policy and procedure revision and development.
  • Assists with Implementation Team Meetings by providing training and guidance on new projects, forms, policies, and procedures.
  • Assists with client/family member customer service issues.
  • Participates in developing, implementing, and tracking Corrective Action Plans.
  • Participates in regional meetings, community meetings, agency meetings, and workgroups that focus on the review of, or development of, new processes.
  • Facilitates agency workgroups that focus on quality improvement initiatives.
  • Reviews on rotation (as part of the Quality Team,) all Special Occurrence documentation that is generated by the clinical teams. Offers feedback on quality and ensures appropriate policy, procedures, and processes are followed in a timely fashion.
  • Provides backup coverage to the CQO on compliance, privacy and other risk/liability issues.
  • Acts as point of contact for all contract entities (e.g. MCOs, ASOs, etc.) and facilitates an appropriate Compass Health response.
  • Provides consultation to program managers around resources, contacts, policies, etc.
  • Develops program specific training materials to address known quality improvement issues.

What you will be carrying along:

  • BA Degree in a Social Science related field or allied field (public health, nursing, etc.) and a master’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Current Washington State Licensure or equivalent in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling preferred.
  • 5 years of experience in direct behavioral health care preferred.
  • Experience designing and providing training in small (<10) to medium-sized (10-30) groups preferred
  • Experience developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives preferred.
  • Valid Washington State Driver’s License including vehicle and appropriate insurance, if applicable.
