Compass Healthcare Consulting and Placement is conducting a search for an experienced Hybrid - Registered Nurse, RN Wound Care Manager for a Managed Care Plan in NY. Position is hybrid, working 3 days in-office in the Bronx, NY and 2 days from home. Qualified candidates will have an active NYS RN License, WCC, Wound Care Certification, BSN and ability to educate and train clinical staff, patients and caregivers on effective Wound Care management.

• The RN Wound Care Manager will conduct telehealth visits with patients and caregivers
• The RN Wound Care Manager Provides evaluation, teaching and training to staff, members/family or designated representatives on wound care management
• The RN Wound Care Manager collaborates with physicians and Chief Medical Officer to develop treatment plans for members with active wounds according to current wound care protocols
• The RN Wound Care Manager Monitors the effectiveness of current wound treatment plan and provides appropriate follow-up, direction and instruction to staff, members/family
• Provides educational in-services to clinical staff when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Current New York State Registered Nurse License required.
• Bachelor’s Degree required. Master’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum of Three (3) years of experience in an Acute Care setting required.
• Current Wound Care Certification, WCC.
• Staff development or adult instruction, and/or home care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Department of Health and Managed Long Term Care standards for home care, preferred.
• MS Office required.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups, customers, or employees of the organization.

Competitive Salary $105,000 - 110,000 & Excellent Benefits!
