Compass Mining is Hiring a Datacenter Technician I Near Dumas, AR
As a Datacenter Technician, you will work with the Field Operations Managers and Site Leads to maintain a portion of our company’s 40,000 assets, facilities, and hosting partners to ensure that everything is safe and functional. Your duties include working with onsite teams and overseeing day-to-day facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on facilities and hardware.
- Monitor hardware.
- Complete day-to-day tasks safely and efficiently.
- Respond to and remediate equipment faults identified by customers or internal monitoring systems.
- Assist in the customer onboarding process by installing servers.
- Travel to mining facilities for site inspections.
- Maintain logs for service and maintenance on deployed assets.
- A technical degree in information technology or equivalent certifications and job experience
- 1 years of experience in a critical infrastructure environment
- Comfortable working with a team of technicians in a 24x7 operating environment
- Experience with electrical troubleshooting, HVAC, plumbing, security, and fire protection are preferred
- Experience with IT infrastructure maintenance is desired but can be acquired
