A well-established manufacturer in the Fargo area is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their team. The main responsibility of this position is to ensure that the company runs efficiently. The Sr. Accountant will provide financial information by researching and analyzing accounts and preparing financial statements. They will also need to ensure public records are kept accurately. Requirements:

-Bachelors Degree in Accounting

-2 Years of experience with full accounting cycle

-Excellent Written and Verbal communication skills

-Trustworthiness and ability to handle highly confidential material

-Knowledge of Accounting Software and MS Office Products

-SAP experience and experience in manufacturing are both preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

-Month End Closing, Financial Statement Prep, Journal Entries, Spreadsheets supporting month-end close, etc.

-Preparing payments by accruing expenses, assigning account numbers, requesting disbursements, reconciling accounts.

-Performing daily administrative tasks maintaining records and files, reconciling accounts, bank deposits, daily mail, etc.

-Process and maintain biweekly payroll, 401K and HSA contributions

-Process weekly check payments

-Manage inventory cycle counts

-Assist in year-end insurance, retirement and financial audits

-Managing HR benefits programs
