Position Summary

• Directs the total maintenance activities associated with production machine repair, preventive maintenance, building and outside grounds upkeep
• Be involved in special projects relating to changes and improvements throughout the facility and fully supports Engineering projects.
• Provide training and technical assistance to support maintenance efforts.
• Determine schedules and skill requirements for all three shifts.
• Maintain a proper supply of machines, tools, and inventory of spare parts.
• Establish a technical library, reference materials and information.
• Incorporate a preventative maintenance program and document activities.
• Provide a clean, orderly and well-maintained maintenance atmosphere.
• Communicate with production, engineering and material service departments.
• Contract, communicate and follow work outside service providers.
• Support machine moves and changes needed by other departments.
• Communicate with upper management, relay company policies and requirements.
• Encourage the exchange of ideas, promote safety and responsibility. 
• Other duties as assigned
