Wareham Pediatric Associates has both full and a part-time positions available for friendly, positive and dependable medical receptionists. We are a well-established pediatric practice that has been part of the Wareham community for over 40 years.
Responsibilities include:
Answering the phones and quickly scheduling appointments or properly taking messages and routing to other staff members.
Greeting patients and family members professionally both in person and on the phone.
Checking patients in and out of the office, verifying demographic and insurance information.
Collecting co-pays and over-due balances.
Skills and qualifications needed:
Prior medical office experience is preferred.
Excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude and friendly manner.
Interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients or family members that may be upset or stressed.
Attention to detail to schedule and register patients correctly and communicate scheduling challenges with nurses and providers.
Ability to multi-task and be flexible.
Ability to be dependable, be a team player and have excellent attendance.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products and EMR experience preferred.
The full-time position is Monday through Friday 7:45 am to 4:45 pm. The part-time position is 8:30 am to 5:30 three days per week. Both positions are in the weekend rotation, which is approximately 8:00 am to 12:00 pm one Saturday per month.
The salary range for this non-exempt position is $20.00 to $21.00 per hour.
We offer paid holidays, accrued vacation and sick time, medical, dental, vision and life insurance and we have a 401K plan.
