Overview:Reporting to the President and General Manager, the Senior Vice President, Customer Success and Sales will serve in a key leadership role as a member of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and will have responsibility for leadership and strategic direction in the development, execution, enhancement, and management of the company's product portfolio.
The SVP, Customer Success and Sales will be responsible to lead, drive and ultimately be accountable for all planning, implementation, execution, and successful achievement of sales to support our growth strategy for the ComplexCare Solutions Business Unit, to achieve the targets of market penetration, revenue, new product commercialization and client diversification.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lead, drive, and be ultimately responsible for the Customer Success and Sales departments of the Company (both core and all acquired affiliates) to including the following:
  • The oversight and achievement of operational and product execution across the dimensions of: client value and ROI achievement, client retention, client reference-ability, volume and revenue budget / forecast achievement, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) attainment.
  • The achievement of all up-sell revenue, inclusive of the cadence and metrics utilized to drive budget achievement, as well as issue resolution metrics, including backlog management and response time.
  • The facilitation of all cross-sell engagements with existing clients in partnership with sales by setting the strategy for the engagement, shepherding client presentation materials through the proposal process, and being able to articulate the value in the proposal and how it drives client success.
  • The coordination of cross-functional leaders and cross-functional teams in a manner that fulfills client success objectives.
  • The implementation of account planning processes aimed at extending and expanding relationships high, wide and deep across the client organization. Primary Measures of Success are:
    • Achieving financial and renewal targets (base revenue renewals; contractual Performance Goals and SLAs).
    • Swiftness in understanding ComplexCare Solution's products, capabilities, differentiators and value attribution methodology in order to drive accelerate up and cross sell opportunities. Establish an effective process to monitor and ensure achievement of client SLAs and key deliverables.
    • Develop and leverage a strategic client planning and reference-ability framework in order to drive high retention and better insight into the pulse of the client to have begun expanding relationships across the mapped client enterprise.
    • Internal Leadership: The leadership and management of personnel necessary to successfully achieve the Identified product(s) Plan(s), inclusive of direct oversight in cases where such personnel report directly or indirectly to Employee, and matrixed coordination in cases where such personnel do not report directly or indirectly to Employee.
    • Internal Support: The support of necessary internal resources, inclusive of marketing, legal, financial, engineering, sales, customer success, and other such resources, as necessary, to optimize and realize the Identified product(s) Plan(s).
    • Accountable for executive sponsor on key accounts, leading to high profile client cross-sell engagements and able to drive issue resolution across the enterprise with a strong knowledge of ComplexCare Solutions process and products.
    • Prepare and deliver timely, comprehensive, and accurate executive level reporting to support senior leadership awareness, decision-making, and strategy.
    • Maintain comprehensive communication with ComplexCare Solutions management and appropriate internal personnel, vendors, and customers regarding timelines, readiness, needs, risks, cost implications, resource requirements, and all other material aspects related to the Identified product(s) Plan(s).
    • Serve as a key member of Employer's management, promoting Employer's values, driving and supporting Employer leadership in the strategic development of initiatives to identify enhancements which may improve products, services, operations, employee satisfaction, client appeal, process flow, and overall business function, industry reputation, and financial performance of the Company.
    • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Employer's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position.

    Job Requirements:
    • Minimum fifteen (15) years of relevant experience with demonstrable accomplishments working in healthcare related sales roles, or relative experience supporting or in sales management and strategy.
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a growth strategy, guide the development of operating plans and drive performance.
    • Strong financial and analytical capabilities, as well as strong strategic and critical thinking skills.
    • Strong experience managing the full scope of operations functions within a high transaction, high availability and complex environment.
    • Proven success leading an organization in bringing new strategies to market including both the development of technology, as well as the associated cultural and business process change required to ensure a successful execution and market adoption.
    • Proven track record of success facilitating progressive organizational change and development within a growing organization.
    • Ability to influence and engage direct reports and peers; and
    • Exceptional written, oral, interpersonal, and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with all levels of leadership.
    Education:
    • BS/BA degree (preferably in sales or a relevant field) or equivalent experience.
    • MBA or equivalent preferred.
    Physical Demands and Work Environment:
    • Sedentary work (i.e. sitting for long periods of time).
    • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force.
    • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions.
    • Subject to inside environmental conditions.
    • Travel for this position will include 10-25% of travel to key ComplexCare Solutions planning and operational meetings.
    The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.Base Compensation Range
    $400,000—$400,000 USD
