Job DescriptionMedi-Cal Eligibility Patient Advocate
Work with uninsured population w/Government programs
Knowledge of Medi-Cal and Indigent programs Helpful
Knowledge of Third-Party programs i.e., (Medi-Cal, CalVCP, WC, TPR, INS, SSI) Helpful
Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Epic Meditec) etc.
High School Diploma or some college preferred and/or 1-3 years' experience in the healthcare industry.
Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities without missing deadlines.
Ability to effectively communicate in a professional and accurate manner with patients. Internal staff, in all written and
Verbal communication. (Bilingual Spanish) helpful
Ability to work independently, must have excellent time management skills.
Interview patients for third party linkages
Secure third-party applications for all potential linked patients
Responsible for managing a portfolio for third party eligibility/recovery.
