Location:San Francisco(onsite) Project Summary :The project entails a major relocation process over the next three years, which includes the closure of two buildings and the consolidation of approximately 1,000 staff members into multiple new locations. This transition will require substantial changes to IT logistics and infrastructure. Key components of the project include:
Secure Printing Configuration: Implementing secure print features on all copiers and printers to prevent unauthorized access to sensitive documents, along with training staff on these features.
Wireless Access Design and Testing: Collaborating with the network team to design a robust wireless network, performing testing to ensure reliability, and optimizing the placement of Wireless Access Points (WAPs) for maximum coverage.
Monitor and Docking Station Management: Relocating 2,000 monitors and 1,000 docking stations, ensuring their security and proper installation at new workstations, including effective wire and cable management 4.
This project aims to ensure a smooth transition for the agency's IT infrastructure while maintaining operational efficiency during the relocation.
Inventory Management: Job Description :Inventory new and existing end-user equipment stock, including laptops, monitors, and accessories.
Equipment Preparation:Prepare equipment for use by loading approved images and installing specialized programs as required.
User Training:Provide initial and follow-up training to users on how to effectively use their laptops and other equipment to ensure uninterrupted business flow and functionality.
Desktop Support:Offer desktop support services, which include troubleshooting and resolving issues related to laptops, computer equipment, peripherals, and software installations.
Documentation:Maintain accurate records of all support activities, equipment configurations, and user training sessions for future reference.
Collaboration : Work closely with other IT staff and departments to ensure that all technology needs are met during the relocation process.
Technical Support:Provide ongoing technical support to address any issues that arise with the equipment or software used by staff.
QUALIFICATIONS DOCUMENTATION (PASS/FAIL) Proposers must provide documentation that clearly demonstrates each Minimum Qualification (MQ) listed below has been met. Minimum Qualification documentation should be clearly marked as "MQ1, MQ2, etc.... to indicate which MQ it supports. Each Proposal will be reviewed for initial determination on whether Proposer meets the MQs referenced in this section. This screening is a pass or fail determination and a Proposal that fails to meet the Minimum Qualifications will not be eligible for further consideration in the evaluation process. The City reserves the right to request clarifications from Proposers prior to rejecting a Proposal for failure to meet the Minimum Qualifications.
