Title: Technical Project Manager Position Type: Hybrid (3 days in office and 2 days remote) Location: East Elmhurst, NY 11370 Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension Hours: 35 hours/weekJob OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing technical projects, utilizing Agile methodologies and SDLC processes. The Technical PM will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring that all project goals are met within the specified timeline and budget.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage technical projects from initiation to closure.
  • Utilize Agile methodology and SDLC to guide project processes.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including scope, milestones, deliverables, and timelines.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
  • Monitor project progress and make necessary adjustments to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Ensure all project documentation is complete and up to date.
  • Manage project resources and budgets effectively.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing project team environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, specifically in technical projects.
  • Proven experience with Agile methodology and SDLC processes.
  • Certification in project management (PMP, Agile, or equivalent) is required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software.
