- Partner with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and translate them into actionable data analysis projects.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from various sources, including AWS services like S3, Redshift.
- Clean and prepare data for analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends and patterns in the data.
- Develop clear and concise reports and visualizations that effectively communicate insights to a non-technical audience.
- Recommend data-driven solutions and strategies to improve business processes and performance.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest data analysis techniques and AWS cloud technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns and trends in data.
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services (S3, Redshift, DynamoDB) is a strong plus.
- Proven experience with SQL and data manipulation techniques. Should be very good in writing complex SQLs.
- Proven experience working with Enterprise level dataset (huge data volume running into TBs)
- Experience working with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
