Position SummaryPerforms repetitive electromechanical assembly and complex electromechanical assembly, involving sensitive or precise dexterous movements to maintain pace and quality of assembly work.
Core Responsibilities And TasksFollows all policies and guidelines regarding workplace safety and product quality.
Receives components or items for assembly and/or test in programmed sequence.
Assembles or tests electrical components by means of sensitive hand and equipment coordination.
Will assemble all variations of in-house standard products.
Follows clear assembly/test instructions, e.g. color code, NEC and UL codes/standards.
Uses simple hand or power tools along with complex jigs and fixtures.
Enter work hours in ERP system (Currently SAP).
Drives continuous improvement process and conducts daily housekeeping/5S audits to ensure continuous improvement activities.
Maintains equipment and area in an orderly and safe condition.
Contributes to division results and performance.
Takes care of internal and external customer needs and expectations.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS-FORMAL EDUCATION RequiredHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE RequiredAbility to read and interpret complex schematics, ladder diagrams, and point to point drawings.
Proficient in the use of hand tools.
