ResponsibilitiesPerform patient care efficiently and effectively through practice and communication with patients and other staff
Provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering patients
Assess patient condition, administer medication, change dressings, monitor vital signs, keep records, and provide patients with support and education
Coordinate care plan for patients to ensure best outcomes.
Follow policies, rules, guidelines, and procedures.
Work independently under supervision to implement care goals for patients.
Competently assess the patient on a regular basis
All Other Responsibilities As NeededMotivated candidates who are looking for career growth
Excellent communication skills with the staff, physicians, patients, and families
License/CertificationAHA Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers
BSN from accredited nursing program, and proper licensure
Work ExperienceAt least 2 years of experience
8 hour shifts; 3pm-11:30pm.
No other orientation date available at this time.
We offer free onsite parking just steps from building.
We are currently staffing at 1:9-10 due to staffing vacancies.
As we onboard more travelers we anticipate the ratio to decrease.
2 plus yrs current MS experience- BLS, NIH; 1:5/1:6 ratios; Meditech EMR experience preferred, Must have KY or compact license, Flu Vaccine or approved ARH exemption. Disclosure: ALL Facilities work a Schedule of 36/48 for the two week pay period. Ratios can fluctuate with census, call in, etc. Orientation is bi-weekly. Start date on job is start date needed. Resource must reside 100 miles from facility to be considered. Assignment confirmation needs to be loaded with in 24 hrs. of accepting offer.
