Cheil Dallas serves as the lead agency for all Samsung projects in North America and is located at Legacy Central in Plano, Texas and currently hiring an Accounts Payable Associate who will support the company with:
- month-end close
- managing vendors with A/P invoice review and payment
- employee expense management
- corporate card reconciliation
- preparation of client pass-through billing
- assist finance lead with project profitability analysis and expense forecast and monitoring
Responsibilities
- Manage company expenses and establish appropriate internal controls and compliance guidelines based on company's and clients' policy and make improvement recommendations on any shortfalls
- Procure process monitoring for vendor selections and purchase order placements: establish appropriate internal controls and compliance guidelines based on company's and clients' policy and make improvement recommendations on any shortfalls.
- Manage/Review vendor invoices and manage the payment - prepare and support pass-through billing to the client.
- Process and record fixed assets and amortization
- Communicate updates to agency, including agency wide presentations on finance guidelines
- Monitor Monthly Corporate Card Use Reconciliation/Reporting process.
- Periodical expense accruals for month and year-end close.
- Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting and/or equivalent experience/certification required.
- 2 years general accounting and accounts payable experience.
- Strong business acumen, attention to detail, and easily handle multiple projects at once.
- Ability to communicate proactively within the finance department and across other departments.
- Experience in the advertising agency business with demonstrable knowledge of agency operations a definite plus.
- Bilingual - English and Korean preferred.
- Experienced in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Able to work in the office environment at the agency in Plano, Texas.
