Computech Corporation is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Specialist Near Plano, TX

Location: Onsite

Job Overview: The NASS A/R Accounting Ops Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing customer-facing accountabilities related to cash flow analysis, resolving customer payment disputes, and collecting unpaid invoices. This position focuses on high-value strategic accounts, requiring frequent interaction to resolve payment issues and ensure compliance with payment terms. Success in this role is measured by meeting baseline KPIs and SLA goals targeting DCSO, aging currency, accuracy, and timeliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve baseline and project goals for DCSO, aging currency, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Monitor and report on customer account status and performance against KPIs, goals, and objectives.
  • Analyze complex issues and collaborate to develop actionable, practical, and sustainable solutions to reduce customer issues.
  • Create and utilize reports to support analysis of account information.
  • Collaborate and negotiate with customers, field sales, and finance functions to improve terms compliance.
  • Meet individual and departmental metrics.
  • Optimize A/R business processes; automate and reduce rework where possible.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams in Billing Exceptions, Cash, and Credit to perform tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Analyze and document detailed customer profiles, including payment habits, proof of delivery, and receiving procedures.
  • Support customer and/or division initiatives.
  • Communicate and escalate issues and procedural changes to Team Coordinators and Managers.
  • Engage in continuous learning and positive change management to develop new tools, methods, and strategic thinking.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • Knowledge of overall A/R workflow and systems.
  • Proficient in adjustments, research, collections, account issues, and customer relationship management.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of DB2 queries, SAP, and XPTR reports for data analysis.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent collaboration, negotiation, and teamwork abilities.
  • Professional and mature demeanor with confidence in customer and functional interactions.
  • Highly analytical, organized, and detail-oriented.
