Detailed Description of Responsibilities

• Work with contractors to implement construction safety mgmt system & other safety requirements on Toyota construction sites.
• Provide safety leadership for new construction & building and lab renovations including mechanical & electrical equipment installation.
• Conduct formal safety audit of activities related to construction and mechanical & electrical equipment installation.
• Review contractor JSA's to confirm completeness & accuracy of work being performed.

Requirements:

• Safety engineering degree is not required but is considered to be a positive if candidate has obtained.
• OSHA 30
• Experience working on construction projects with multiple subtrades.
• Experience with various parts of construction: site/civil work, structural steel, electrical & mechanical.
• Experience reviewing and verifying JSA's developed by contractors.
• Proficient in Microsoft: PowerPoint & Excel

RM Notes:

• There would Overtime: 25%
• Travel -20% Domestic travel
