Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret published scientific literature on functional ingredient benefits (e.g., energy,
• mood, cognition, physical performance) to assess viability of study
• Summarize and organize studies in PICO format using summarized PICO charts and other
• relevant scientific data, policies, and regulations
• Create ingredient- or benefit-specific dossiers
• Track functional ingredient requests and create monthly dashboard for reporting purposes
• Support Gatorade brand through collection and organization of student athlete waivers
• Maintain and optimize team SharePoint

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Masters’ Degree or equivalent in Nutritional Science, Food Science or Life Sciences
• Fundamental knowledge of functional ingredients and nutrients
• Excellent scientific literacy and demonstrated ability to comprehend and interpret human
• nutrition intervention studies
• Ability to work within a matrixed organization
• Ability to distill scientific concepts for technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong written and interpersonal skills
